Establishes a 3D model of the horizontal connection pipe close to actual situation, and verifies the model with experiments. Based on the model, analyses the impact of the depth on heat transfer performance of horizontal connection pipe in summer. The result indicates that the outlet pipe of horizontal connection pipe embedded in 0.5 m and 1.0 m absorbs heat from soil, so that the water temperature out of vertical ground heat exchanger increases; the inlet and outlet pipes of horizontal connection pipe embedded in 1.5 m and 2.0 m both release heat to soil, and the heat exchange rate and proportion are largely increased.
